THE CHALLENGE
Our customer had several systems with different logins. This was painstaking for the users, who often just dropped out. In addition, it was time-consuming for the administrators, e.g. for user management or password reset requests.
EXECUTING THE PROJECT
We overlaid a central SSO with Keycloak for our customer. We employed the customer’s central AD as a data source for the internal users.
We added a further identity provider for external users. In addition, three existing systems were integrated.
THE OUTCOME
User management is now considerably easier for the administrators. Users can reset their passwords themselves in the self-service area and they are happy they only have one login, leading to considerably higher user numbers.
